After spending much of my teenage years and adult life writing for pleasure, it’s becoming increasingly hard to keep this up whilst also making a living. The majority of my writing work is done for free, and/or available to consume free of charge, across platforms such as my webzine 5.18 Magazine. I want to explore more in depth writing that really pushes my work, and have created this Substack in order to allow space for that to happen in a format that gives readers the opportunity to support it financially if they are able to. Anyone who can’t afford this can still subscribe for free, and enjoy the free posts.

Never miss an update—every new post is sent directly to your email inbox. For a spam-free, ad-free reading experience, plus audio and community features, get the Substack app. Be part of a community of people who share your interests. Participate in the comments section, or support this work with a subscription.
